lee corso stroke

There was a nice moment at the end of this morning's "College GameDay," which brought young USC fan Jake Olson to the set to make picks. (Olson has been a companion of the Trojans all year since losing his sight to cancer.) Olson was excellent in the segment, doling out facts to go with his picks and delivering all of his analysis smoothly.

In fact, I thought he was better than Lee Corso, and that was even before Scooter did this:





Yeah, he just extended a hand to a blind child. That happened. Kudos to Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit for not falling out of their chairs at that moment.

Between that, the colorful description of the Rose Bowl by a former Ohio State linebacker, and the Outback Bowl revving -- Northwestern is throwing it all over the lot, and Auburn has their ground game working -- today has bowl season ticking upwards.
